My multimedia piece, Emergence, for Flute Quartet, Electronics and Video Projection will receive its Lithuanian premiere on June 2 at 8PM, at the Arts Printing House, Black Hall (Šiltadaržio st. 6), in Vilnius, the capitol city of Lithuiania. This concert, called Spheres, will be the closing concert of the Festivalis Druskomanija.

New Music Incubator: June 8-13

With funding from Nordic Culture Point and the Swedish Music Information Centre, the first Baltic/Scandinavian incarnation of the New Music Incubator kicks off on June 8 at Jurnieka Ligdza (The Sailor’s Nest), a small, charming, family-run hotel just south of Liepaja, Latvia and a stone’s throw from the Baltic Sea.

The follow-up public concert from this past summer’s activities in the Nätverksläger (New Music Incubator, see my previous post) will take place in Västerås Concert Hall, Sweden on January 17 at 5 PM. 18 composers and musicians from 5 countries will come together for this performance.
