Lithuanian saxophonist Arvīds Kazlausks will join the Sinfonietta Riga String Quartet (Aleksejs Bahirs – Violin I; Agnese Kanniņa-Liepiņa – Violin II; Liene Kļava – Viola; and Kārlis Klotiņš – Cello) at 6pm on September 15th at Talsu Tautas Nams (The National House of Talsi) for a concert that will include my for the straight way was lost (in a version for alto saxophone and viola) as well as works by Mozart, Wolfgang Bottenberg and Arvīds Malcis.

Charles Griffin recently returned to the U.S. after spending 5 years living and working in Latvia. His compositions and arrangements have been performed at festivals and concert halls throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, Brazil, Cuba, and Puerto Rico.
