Pianist Uģis Krišjānis reprises his recent performance of my Vernacular Dances at Rīgas Latviešu biedrības nama Zelta zālē (Riga’s Society House, Golden Hall) on March 27 at 8PM.
Uģis Krišjānis is joined by musicians Jānis Rinkulis (cello), Kristaps Pētersons (electric guitar), Dzintars Vīksna (drums) on this concert called “NEPIERADINĀTS” (UNTAMED), including works by Gundega Šmite, Volfgangs Dārziņš, Gundaris Pone, Imants Zemzaris, Līga Celma, Uģis Krišjānis and Kristaps Pētersons. Tickets cost 2 Ls/1 Ls (Seniors, students).

Charles Griffin recently returned to the U.S. after spending 5 years living and working in Latvia. His compositions and arrangements have been performed at festivals and concert halls throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia, Brazil, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. Recent projects include commissions from pianist Ana Cervantes and the Colorado State University Percussion Ensemble.
